Little Pink came into our life just when we needed it. After 16 rounds of chemo, 33 radiation treatments and more surgeries than I can count on 2 hands we were exhausted as a family financially and physically. When we were chosen to go on the retreat we were over the moon! While we were there it was the most amazing trip we have ever been on. Not only because the beach was beautiful but because we made some really great connections. The volunteers were some of the nicest, most caring people we have ever met. I still talk with one women often who I consider one of my best friends now. I now volunteer myself as a phone contact and make calls out to the families that are chosen. I love talking to them and sharing our experience.
I choose to support Little Pink because of the impact they made in my life. They give memories, happy wonderful memories. Most often in a time where maybe not many more memories can be made. I am fortunate to have so many more memories after this trip but know way too many that didn’t.
Little Pink doesn’t just give a vacation. Little Pink gives friendships, support, love and wonderful memories.
