Today was an amazing day filled with pure joy all around. From family para-sailing, to mom makeovers, to date night for the hard-working parents and mini-golf for the kids, today was incredible. We are all so glad to see that almost everyone, even those who were scared and refused at first, saw how much fun para-sailing was and tried it out. They all seemed to have a blast!
Makeovers can give someone so much confidence, but these lovely ladies didn’t need the makeup to show how truly beautiful they are inside and out. It just added a little sparkle to each mother’s eye, but that also could have been the happiness gained from making some incredible bonds with the other mothers today. I think we have all forgotten that it’s only been three and a half days together, feels like we’ve all known each other forever. Just to show how close these families have really become, they were offered separate tables for each couple for their date night, but decided to push their tables together for one big, heartwarming gathering of the parents.
And now for kids night while the parents were out. The parents weren’t the only ones bonding, and what better way to bond than over some putt-putt.
Thanks to Tanya and Noel from Saks Fifth Avenue for coming to give makeover to all the mothers today! Everyone looked wonderful for their date night! A big thanks goes out to the Bethany Beach Fire Department and our anonymous donator for giving a tour of the fire house and allowing for us to eat the delicious, donated pizza there! Another BIG thanks goes to Liz and Ed Burke for the parents date night at Perucci’s and Off the Hook restaurants, as well as Carol for the passes to Captain Jack’s Pirate Golf! Lots of thanks, and lots of love from everyone!
