Today was a relaxing day as everyone starts to get tired from all of the great activities all week long. The best part of my day was noticing how much everyone has come out of their shells and really become a little pink family throughout the week. It’s amazing how close you can become to people.. and how fast you can forget that you only met them less than a week ago.
This morning consisted of kayaking, canoeing, and a few paddleboards, and some just relaxing and watching on the beach.. nestled next to a bunch of washed up horseshoe crabs. A special thanks goes out to Hugh and the rest of the Rehoboth Bay Sailing Association for helping us out with everything today!
After some relaxing after kayaking and lunch, a professional photographer came to take pictures of all of our families, and one of the volunstars (with our volunstar theme of the week included: photo-bombing). If you don’t know what that means.. it’s when you hop in the background of someone’s picture that you weren’t intended to be in.. typically making an unusual face or stance. While families returned from their photoshoots, they came back to an Italian dinner, which turned out to be more of a feast (not that anyone is complaining). The kids played games and cracked more than a few jokes.
