I will forever be thankful to LPHOH for what they have given me this past week. It is unreal. My husband and I got to spend a week in paradise with other couples who have been through what we have been through this last year. It was truly amazing to get to hear everyone’s stories and connect with others who “get it”. It was also amazing to just relax, not worry, and reconnect with Chris as a husband and wife, instead of a cancer patient and caretaker. I was diagnosed May 2018 with breast cancer at 17 weeks pregnant. After a mastectomy, chemo, the birth of our baby, more chemo, and radiation, this retreat was EXACTLY what we needed. I literally cannot say enough good things about Little Pink. I hope to do some fundraising for them later this year and we have already talked about possibly volunteering for them next year. But for now, check them out, and know that if you choose to donate to them, every single penny goes toward giving a breast cancer family the support and hope and reconnection that we so desperately need after a breast cancer diagnosis.
