LPHOH gave me the gift of life! A life free from stress and worry, a life free from tears and pain and a life free from problems and cancer….for a whole week! Lake Tahoe was my slice of blue heaven and it was an amazing experience. From our arrival and meeting all of the fantastic and compassionate Volunstars to the donated home and all the activities, our family just couldn’t believe it was all for us! I shed quite a few tears due to the compassion of the donations and the support that was given by the local community. Lake Tahoe was more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. We had an extremely hard time saying goodbye to not only the wonderful new family members we bonded with but to the beautiful surroundings. Lake Tahoe will always live in our hearts.
