I was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer at 29 years old so very unexpectedly. As a single mother, my world stopped and it’s been nothing but stress, anxiety, sadness and the constant appointments and tests. I was  chosen for a trip to Hatteras Island, North Carolina and couldn’t believe it. When we arrived we were treated so well! It was the day before mother’s day and the house was beautiful, the gifts were beautiful. We were right next to the beach for an entire week and it was a week of me not having to worry or stress or go to appointments. It was honestly the trip of a lifetime. I’m so thankful for the memories and the warm welcome we got from Little Pink Houses of Hope.
