When I was diagnosed with Stage 4 breast cancer at age 43 during COVID, it was the scariest time of my life. Little Pink offered me the opportunity to find hope and meet others who are walking the same journey. It was just a nice week to decompress with my family and interact with others who’ve gone through the same experience. I loved the opportunity for my kids to see other families and young people who are going through the same scary experience and finding hope and empowerment in sharing their stories.
