An awesome Little Pink Volunstar was inspired by our day this evening to make this acrostic!

Today was challenging, motivating, and empowering. We watched as people overcame some fears and overcame their physical limitations their minds had set for them. They showed us, and most importantly themselves, that they can do anything they set their minds to. They won’t let anything hold them back.
Paddle boarding day never fails to amaze everyone involved. Special thanks to our friends at Ocean Cure for driving down to Emerald Isle this week to teach these families something most of them never imagined they would be able to do.
 
After working up quite the appetite, everyone headed to Chapel by the Sea for a delicious lunch. Hopefully everyone got their much needed naps after filling their bellies before coming to dinner at the Volunstar house! Good friends of Little Pink, the Matthews and Debrito families, cooked us a lovely Italian dinner. They served the food with style too, full Italian restaurant style waitress/waiter ensembles complete with moustaches.

We ended the night a little crabby… crabbing of course, out on the dock on the sound. We have some expert crabbers now and they will take that skill and never look at a dock the same way again.
