The fish were biting today! We cast our lines on Yaupon Pier hoping to catch more fish than ghost crabs. We were in luck! Pompano fish, flounders, sea bass and even a sting ray were all pulled up by one of our Little Pink families. After everyone had the opportunity to share a few fish stories, lunch was served right on the pier.
After a good day of fishing it was time for Parent’s/Kid’s Night. The kids were dropped off at the Oak Island Rec Center which was filled with activities such as board games, pool and basketball. The parents dined with a beautiful view of the ocean and had great opportunities to talk to each other. Special thanks to Rhonda and her incredible crew at the Flying Fish Café for dinner.
