Today was the last day of the North Myrtle Beach retreat. We began with photography on the beach. Ashley who is a member of the retreat was generous enough to take pictures of all the families. After a great session the families stopped at Hot Digity Diner for lunch. We had a survivors’ coffee where everyone who has battled cancer was able to sit down and connect with each other.
Then it was time for the goodbye dinner. St. Stevens Episcopal Church provided us with an Italian feast. Once our final meeting was done we said goodbye. This was a retreat where everyone was able to really connect with each other. There is no doubt that everyone will stay in touch as we go back to our lives and continue to live stronger laugh harder and love deeper.
