BREAST CANCER PATIENTS & SURVIVORS “LIVE AND LET GO” AT TRAPEZE SCHOOL NEW YORK TO RAISE FUNDS FOR CANCER BATTLE
Women Took to the Skies as part of National Tour
New York City-Today, breast cancer patients and survivors took to the skies Monday evening and attempted to trapeze for the first time with Trapeze School New York to raise funds for Little Pink Houses of Hope. This is one of the first stops on a national fundraising tour.
“Little Pink” is the only national non-profit cancer charity to focus on providing a healing experience for the entire family affected by cancer. The charity creates vacationretreats for the cancer fighter and their families in order to promote an opportunity for survivors to reconnect and celebrate life with other families experiencing the same situation. The beach houses are donated enabling the cancer patients and their families to stay at no cost. Many of the women at the fundraiser have been on one of the retreats and can attest to how instrumental it was in giving them, and their families, the strength to fight breast cancer.
“We’re embarking on this national tour to help families across the country, afflicted with cancer, get help they need to fight their battle,” said Jeanine Patten-Coble. “The women here today showed how strong they are. They are overcoming their fear of heights and their fear of what cancer will bring. They represent women across the country who need all the help they can get to fight cancer.”
“Viver would like to thank Little Pink for a fantastic event at the Trapeze school, ” said Vicki Barghout, co-founder of Viver Health. “Little Pink is giving families hope when they are faced with a cancer diagnosis and allows families to bond and get away for a short period of time to escape. Viver teamed up for the event to celebrate all the survivors and inspire and empower them through education about good health.”
