If you have ever needed a boost of hope for our teenagers today, the Teens of Hope event in Cuyahoga Falls, OH was definitely the place to be! In support of our LPHOH mom, Dawn Dieterich, teens from Cuyahoga Falls High School conducted a yard sale prior to our arrival and then teens came over for the Picnic of Hope event and pulled out their wallets to support Little Pink. That’s right- their wallets, not their parents. One young boy, Cody, had just gotten his first paycheck and was thrilled to use money from his first check to support the cause. It was a day of fun, games, bonfires, and tons of food! The Teens of Hope raised $661.00 today and are going to continue their efforts as this was the kick-off to their Summer Teens of Hope Service Project! All in support of a wonderful family, the Dieterichs. You could feel the love of the community, the compassion of all of these young people and their desire to do more! They are planning on having a Teens of Hope summer, where they have committed to do service projects to help raise funds to cover the cost of a family ($563).
