The rain last evening made way for a completely different day today.  The air was cool and there was a beautiful breeze ready and waiting for us for paddle boarding.  For many of our families, this was their first experience with paddleboarding.  With the help of Matt, Chris and Jim from Ocean Cure, everyone was able to experience a rush of adrenaline and success on the board.  Some even wanted to try it a second and third time!
Hunger brought everyone in for a picnic lunch provided by Quiznos.  The families went off for the afternoon for various adventures and reconvened at the Emerald Isle Baptist Church for an delicious Mexican fiesta and a game of Celebrity.
It’s hard to believe that we’ve only known each other for two days… We arrived as strangers and now have become friends.
