Friday was the last day of the Little Pink Houses of Hope New Smyrna Beach Retreat and it was warm, sunny, and full of climbing!  That’s right- our participants climbed the Ponce de Leon Lighthouse this morning- all 203 steps up and 203 steps back down!  The day was full of smiles and laughter before our final meal before saying our goodbyes and heading out for home in the morning.  A special thank you to all of our beach house donors, local businesses, and community members for making this an unbelievably successful retreat!

We have truly enjoyed this week!  But the week was missing something- rather someone.  Earlier this week, one of our Little Pink moms went into the hospital during the retreat and remains in the hospital in New Smyrna Beach.  Please keep this family in your thoughts and prayers- because this is the face of cancer- a young mom in her thirties who is fighting for her life and just wanting desperately to be well enough to go home.
