Today was a great day, the clouds moved aside for our families so they could enjoy such a wonderful time at the beach.
 

We played a little, our volunSTARS had beach games planned for them and everyone seemed to have a blast.

 
Amanda Stickland hosted lunch at the Kure Beach Estates and Kure Beach Village Access cabana. She donates every year and it is always wonderful.
The families got to enjoy a little time off during the afternoon so they could rest up for our adventure at the Fort Fisher Aquarium. The Aquarium staff closed down the aquarium and donated their time to serve our families and let them tour the aquarium.

After the families were done touring, they came to a huge fish tank that they could sit in front of to have dinner. Kate Weiss and Bob Campbell donated dinner, and The Big Apple Bakery donated dessert they made a special dessert for one of our family members birthday.

Today was a successful day! Excited for the days to follow!
