One of my favorite days on many of the Little Pink retreats is when we Stand Up Paddle Board!  Today, thanks to Liz at Arawak Expeditions, our 2015 St. John Breast Cancer Couples Retreat participants were able to experience this awesome activity.
What makes it so great is the mix of excitement, fear, accomplishment, and sheer laughter as they learn a new physical activity and put cancer completely out of their minds.


We were lucky to be able to partner with The Banana Deck for lunch where our couples got a chance to brag about their new paddling skills!

The ladies took an afternoon to go shopping, thanks to the following local merchants who supplied gift and discount cards: Caravan Gallery, Big Planet, Best of Both Worlds, Bamboo, Freebirds, Now and Zen, and more!
And just when the day seemed perfect, Joe’s Rum Hut organized a dinner on the beach!  The breeze was perfect, the food was great, and the company was the best!
