I started my day with a run. I don’t normally run, but all the anticipation for the day to come had me wanting to. Running pretty much described the rest of my day, a rush. While preparing for the families to arrive, I saw that rush in all of the volunstars faces; it was a rush of excitement. And that rush continued as each new family checked in. After a delicious dinner provided by Touch of Italy, the families were told more about how the following week will be spent. I saw the rush grow as the families received more details and I saw the anticipation turn into excitement just as it did with me. I can’t wait to see where that excitement leads.
