Rain won’t ruin our fun! Luckily, fishing was the plan for this morning and a little rain is perfect for fishing. Everyone got a much needed late start before heading out to the Bogue Inlet Fishing Pier for fishing this afternoon (which turned out to be a beautiful day) where some caught their first fish! Everyone enjoyed a great lunch provided by Quizno’s which was delivered by our volunteers later this afternoon.

Later this evening the parents headed out for a romantic date night at Portofino’s and ended up pushing their tables together because they are having such a good time together this week. While they ate dinner, the Volunstars took the kids to bowl and play putt-putt at MacDaddy’s where everyone had an awesome time. After kid’s night, some of the kids went out to Ben & Jerry’s with their free coupons (thanks so much! who doesn’t love ice cream).
