Today was a blast of fun in the sun with paddle boarding in the morning and fishing and a crab feast in the evening. Everyone from the adults to the kids had fun with the paddle boards and the kayaking. The best part was that all the moms were able to be out on the water whether it was paddle boarding or kayaking.
There were lots of other activities on the shore like crabbing and corn-hole. A lot of the kids had a blast with that and Austin caught the biggest one of the day! Fortunately, for the crabs, we tossed them back in the water. No worries, we were going to eat them for dinner later that night.
Later in the evening, all the families returned back to Ann’s house for fishing and a feast of crabs from Mickey’s Crabhouse provided by the generous donation from Joseph C. Raskauskas! For the ones that went fishing, they had fun learning how to fish on the beach, even without the big fish tale.
After the fishing ended, the crab feast got underway with everyone enjoying the company of friends and family. The kids had fun using hammers to smash open the crabs to get to the meaty goodness that was on the inside. What a wonderful day!
