Little Pink Houses of Hope provides opportunities for families to reconnect and celebrate life during the breast cancer journey with free week long vacation retreats for breast cancer patients and their families. A cancer diagnosis is physically, emotionally and financially exhausting. These retreats provide an environment where families going through the same experience can connect—developing lifelong friendships and strong support networks.
WHY SHE GOT INVOLVED
After being diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer at age 39, Jeanine saw a gap in services that existed for families. With the realization that many resources were available for breast cancer prevention and treatment, it was rare to find a program that met the palliative support needs for survivors and their families. With this, Little Pink Houses of Hope was born!
Now with locations predominately on the east coast, Jeanine hopes to expand these retreats into the midwest, southwest, and west coast to help meet the growing demand of applicants.
