Day 1 at The Beach Club we were all fast friends, like these two, leading the way.

The introductions made, the fine Southern meal was served, courtesy of our hosts at The Beach Club

They came from parts far and varied, some driving 24 hours.
Working up a thirst was easy in the hot Bama weather, and customary Sweet Tea was the perfect elixer.

While the adults were learning about their plans for the week, the kids and teens made merry in the lawn, with games of tag, cornbag toss, and football.
