It was a wonderful morning after a great night sleep at the Radisson thanks to Mike and his staff! Thanks so much to the Radisson for their generous donations of rooms along the way for the Summer Tour of Hope!
The day was filled with adventure and fun at the Toledo Zoo, thanks to some young Zoo Volunteers who had as their as their guests (for Zoo blog post, click here.)
Kathleen Walsh organized the event through the University of Toledo and we had a great chance to share our message on The Relevant U Talk Radio Show.
The big event in Toledo was the Little Pink Wellness Event- what a fabulous night of learning about alternative services for patients and a chance to even learn how to belly dance!
It was such a blessing to see former LPHOH moms at the event! Thanks Robin, Pat, Kathleen, and Sherry!
The event was a huge success and a ton of fun!
And as we drove off into the night and the rural parts of Indiana, we clicked over to 2000 miles. Only 9,000 more to go!
PS… Ramblings from the Road: We pulled into Indiana last night at 11:30 to the loving and grateful arms of Dorothy Patten, my grandmother. Thus the reason for not posting last night- I had more important things to do- sit and talk with the most precious woman. The biggest blessing that I have in my life is my family. I have known for a very long time, that if you were playing the family lottery, that I won the Jackpot! I have amazing grandparents, loving parents, supportive siblings, a crazy in love with me husband, and the best son in the whole world. At the heart of Little Pink is helping families and I would not be here without the love and support of my own!
