Pink Balloons Lead the Way 
The Little Pink takeover of Key West began on Sunday! Pink balloons lined Route 1, leading our Little Pink families to the ocean. Day one of a retreat is always full of anticipation — for our families, our volunteers and the many individuals who play a role in making a retreat possible.
Serving as a retreat director for the first time, it was wonderful to watch our team of volunteers greet our families and make them feel at home. The volunteers moved seamlessly, answering questions, addressing needs, finding commonalities among one another. The smiles stretched across the faces of each family member and several children claimed to be instant best friends.
Everyone parted ways aiming to breathe deeply and sleep sweetly as they settle in for a week of rest, relaxation and memories.
