Stand-Up Paddle Boarding, or SUP for the pro’s we had today, is something so empowering, so meaningful, and not to mention extremely cool looking, that this event is something everyone looks forward to at each retreat. Some of our favorite moments from today was watching people who swore they wouldn’t be able to stand up, stand up.

A huge thanks to Ocean Cure , a group of local surf instructors who strive to make a difference through the power of challenging yourself in the water. They come to as many Little Pink retreats as they can, and we are very grateful for their services and friendships.
After a great workout paddleboarding, we headed to Angelo’s Pizza for a buffet of all different kinds of pizza, along with a multitude of arcade games. I’m sure everyone took a nap, or at least rested their eyes and bodies, after a fulfilling and busy morning, then met back up for dinner at Hatteras Realty, donated by St. John’s United Methodist Church. We all ate an extremely large portion of spaghetti and homemade sauce, and then continued to eat delicious homemade cake (which I, and I’m sure many others, ate way too much of as well).
To work off all the great food we ate, we headed over to Frisco’s Mini-Golf and Go-Kart for some seriously competitive racing. As you can tell by the faces in these pictures, everyone had a great time.
It’s hard to believe that it’s only Tuesday. When you see how well these families connect, you would think they had known each other their whole lives. Our Little Pink family will only get closer as the week goes on!
