Sunday began our Hatteras Island, NC retreat.  Eleven families came from all over the country to this small island to enjoy a week of relaxation and fun.  At the end of our first night one person had to ask, “How did we get so lucky to have been chosen for this?” The answer is simple really, it was meant to be.  God has a plan.
Hatteras Island Realty has spoiled us with their out pouring of generosity as they have year after year. Several families had tears of joy when seeing their house for the first time while others took pictures and sent them to family and friends at home.  We were all very impressed with the generous donations of the home donors.

As the adults had a meeting to go over the schedule for the week, the kids had a chance to play and get to know each other.  Every family was filled with joy hearing about the exciting things we had planned this week.

What a great beginning to the week!
