News Release:
Breast Cancer Non-Profit Partners with Raleigh Media Company for Web Project
Burlington, NC. – Little Pink Houses has been the recipient of the charitable work provided by Raleigh based media company, O3 Media and announces the release of their new website www.littlepink.org. The collaboration came after Sean Baker, Art Director of O3, had a great idea for a way for O3 to give back, “Our goal was to outfit a deserving organization with a rebrand and a face lift. We chose Little Pink Houses of Hope among many deserving organizations because of the personal story that came along with it.” Little Pink Houses of Hope, a breast cancer organization that provides week long free vacations for patients and families from around the United States, was founded after Jeanine Patten-Coble saw a need for families to have a chance to focus on reconnecting after her own battle with breast cancer in 2009. Although originally looking for a Wake County non-profit to support, Brian Onorio, O3 President and CEO said, “Jeanine Patten-Coble was a delight to talk to over the phone and when she came in for the first time, we were moved by her journey and founding of Little Pink Houses of Hope and knew it was the organization that we were called to help.”
The year-long project included updating the logo, rebranding with a brand new website and web hosting services for a year. “We really wanted to give it a feel of what the organization provides: all inclusive vacations for women with breast cancer and their families. It was a joy to work with LPHOH and we look forward to seeing their success stories through the years” stated Onorio. The new website includes the ability for users to view upcoming events, videos and, blog entries, apply for retreats, volunteer online, donate a beach house, and support the organization financially through online donation. “The breast cancer community is a very tight knit group online and having a strong web presence is key to spreading awareness about the organization. They were able to take the story of who we are and what we do for breast cancer families and translate it beautifully into a brand new website”, Patten-Coble raved.
