Retreats are only made possible by a generous group of individuals who decide to donate their HOUSE/TOWNHOUSE/CONDO for a week long retreat. For some families, this will be the last vacation they have together.

As a property owner, it is likely that your vacation house is your home away from home. It is used as a get-away where your family creates wonderful memories together.  Going through treatment can be physically, emotionally, and financially exhausting. A Little Pink Houses retreat allows families to rejuvenate and celebrate each individual member at absolutely NO COST to the family. Little Pink Houses of Hope was founded by a breast cancer survivor who understands the need for families going through the cancer journey to live stronger, laugh harder, and love deeper.  Participant families are amazed at the generosity and kindness of owners that donate for them to achieve this goal.

Who will stay in my property?

Your home will be used exclusively by 1 family. Each family will have private housing to create an environment that focuses on spending quality time together.

Is my property covered if something goes wrong?

Little Pink Houses of Hope has complete insurance coverage through HUB International for all property liability, and indemnity for up to 10 million dollars on each unit/home used in our program as well as an additional 1 million dollar umbrella policy. Any insurance claims for should be immediately communicated to our Retreat Programs Director, Kathy Gates, within 24 hours of departure and prior to additional tenant use. How are cleaning and/or linen fees and services handled?

Little Pink wants to make sure that the standards that you have set for your home are maintained as a part of participation in our Breast Cancer Retreat Program. The property application includes questions regarding cleaning and linen services. There are options for cleaning and linen service and we desire to honor whichever choice you would like to make.

  1. Little Pink has donated cleaning services available in most locations. If you choose, we will enlist those services, costing nothing for either the owner or Little Pink. You can also choose to donate the cleaning services as part of your donation.
  2. Maintain your current cleaning contract and provide Little Pink Houses of Hope with an invoice for the cleaning service. We will pay the cleaning service/ cleaner designated within 15 days of receipt of invoice. Little Pink will make payment to designated invoice address.
  3. If you use a property management company and your cleaning service is part of a larger fee, Little Pink will pay the appropriate fee to the management company. Please communicate this information to property@littlepink.org to set up the details. The payment date for this cleaning service plan will be made based on the policy of the management company.
  4. Additionally, questions regarding linen service and its availability are included in the application.
