Huge thanks to everyone, especially Commodore Jeff Minalga, at the Key West Community Sailing Center for giving our Little Pink family a day full of sailing adventures and laughter. We are so happy to see people “jumping instead of crawling down,” a.k.a. letting go, trusting that everything will be okay and work out for the best.
Our couples got a chance to eat a wonderful dinner ocean side at Salute!, Waterside at A & B Lobster House, The Hot Tin Roof and The Commodore Restaurant, enjoy an eclectic meal at The Cafe, and a wonderful atmosphere at Michael’s Restaurant. Thanks to all of the wonderful local restaurants who donated to our families for their date night tonight, they each had a fantastic time.
Meanwhile, the kids played with dead fish… literally. We somehow wound up playing some old school style ‘telephone’ while eating pizza, then got to the decorating. We painted fish and made their impression on some t-shirts! They all came out great and will hopefully be dry tomorrow (and not smell like fish too badly).
