On Day 3 of the Buxton, NC With Joaquin threatening our weather, God blessed us with another beautiful day!  We began an empowering day with paddle boarding courtesy of Chris and Kristen LaCoe with Ocean Cure.   What a confidence boost for our retreat participants, smiles of accomplishment, and wonderful memories that none of us will ever forget. 

After a delicious lunch our participants had an afternoon venturing out on Hatteras Island visiting Hatteras Lighthouse, Hatteras Village, and local shops.  Others spent the afternoon relaxing at Croatan Ridge and enjoying the beautiful views of the sound and ocean.  One of the husbands entertained on the deck playing guitar and serenading the  ladies.

John Connor, owner of Crazy Johnny’s Bar-B-Que,  a consistent supporter of Little Pink, provided a wonderful dinner of brisket, bar-b-que chicken, mac ‘n cheese, green beans, and the best peach cobbler ever.

Under a star-lite sky our participants played the newlywed game.  This group really knows how to have fun, they have bonded, and in good fun playing this sometimes very revealing game, held back nothing, and shared uncontrolled laughter.
