Stand up Paddleboarding is always something to look forward to on a Little Pink retreat. The feeling of getting up on the board for the first time is exhilarating. Ocean Cure provided the paddle boards and gave everyone great instructions. We had some that were naturals while others had to get back up a few times. Eventually everyone was paddling around the sound.
Southport Trinity United Methodist Church packed lunches for us to enjoy on the beach.
After resting, we dined at Shagger Jacks, which served great tacos and burgers. A Ghost Crab Hunt was scheduled for after dinner. Unfortunately no crabs were found, but hot chocolate and coffee were served back at the volunteer house.
After today everyone on this trip has something to be proud of; taking a challenge head on and conquering it is something that should be celebrated.
