I was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer at age 36 when I was nine days postpartum in December of 2019. The Little Pink retreat to Oak Island was such a blessing! I am so thankful to have been chosen and to have been able to spend some beach time with my babies.

My daughter is four and my son is almost two. It was great seeing them enjoying the beach and for my son to experience the aquarium for the first time. We made such precious memories that I will hold onto forever. It was great getting to meet the other families and I hope the friendships we made will last a lifetime.

I found some great friends in the VolunStars also. Everyone made this experience so much better than I had expected. They truly do think of everything and make sure everyone is included. I am so grateful!
