Unfortunately today was the last day of an amazing retreat here in Key West.  It is truly inspiring to see how much all of the families have grown throughout this week physically and mentally, just getting a minute to relax or reconnect with their families.  To begin the day, Andrew Gage (of Adventure Imaging) offered his time to photograph each family at the West Martello Garden Club.  All of the families’ pictures came out wonderfully and we can’t wait to send them to you all!
 

Later this afternoon, our families got to embark on a cruise aboard the Schooner Western Union.  The cruise was very mellow and comfortable as we ventured the Gulf of Mexico and surrounding islands of Key West.  After the cruise, we had a delicious dinner cooked by one of our Volunstars (who I replaced on the blog today).  We have had a great week together and it is easy to see that all of our families have become stronger and closer in more ways than one.
