At the Little Pink Gulf Shores Retreat, today was filled with wonderful surprises of talents that we did not know existed and an opulence that we did not expect. It was a day full of beauty surrounded by love.
Retreat participants began the day with an option of fishing at the pier or painting a picture with Christie’s Paint-n-Shop.
The crew at the pier showed the fish who was the boss and even managed to snag a bird along the way. The looks on the faces as a fish was reeled in was one of pure joy!
And for those of us not at the pier, we were singing, dancing, and painting with Christie at Christie’s Paint-n-Shop. Feeling like Picasso, we channeled our artistic skills and created paintings to take home from the retreat.
We were spoiled with a wonderful lunch provided by John at The Fiddle Fish and Scott at Gulf Shores Steamer!
After a busy morning, participants headed back to the beach for a lazy afternoon to get ready for the big night out. And we mean BIG. Families were treated to a private penthouse dinner on the 29th floor overlooking the Gulf of Mexico at The Turquoise Place, compliments of Julie and Chef Brody of Spectrum Resorts! The view was AMAZING, the dinner PHENOMENAL, the opulence OVER the TOP, and the feeling of ROMANCE was in the air!
And while the parents were out having a good time, the volunstars and the kids enjoyed the pool, the lazy river, and a pizza party!
